Angela is an Assistant Vice President for System Human Resource Services. In this role, she provides executive leadership and strategic direction for the System Offices in the areas of equal employment opportunity, community and belonging, workplace investigations and grievance resolution, accessibility and accommodations, human resource systems administration, leave administration, and talent acquisition and management. Angela partners closely with senior leadership and colleagues across the System Offices to advance innovative HR practices, foster a culture of equity and accountability, and strengthen the overall employee experience across the University of Illinois System.

Angela has worked in the human resource field since 1996 in both the public and private sectors and has been with the University of Illinois System since 2001. Angela graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelors in Sociology and a masters in Human Resources Management. In addition, Angela is a graduate of the TIAA Emerging Leaders Program. 

Angela holds senior professional human resource certifications from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Human Resources Standards Institute (HRCI) and is a member of her local human resource chapter and serves on community non-profit boards. She previously served as president of the local Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) chapter, Central Illinois Human Resources Group (CiHRG).
