Request Access

When a user submits a Request Access transaction, the request goes to the Group Inbox of the employee's home unit.  Follow these steps to process a Request Access transaction received in the Group Inbox:

  1. Locate the transaction in the Group Inbox, and click once on that row to select it.
  2. Click the Take Ownership button.
  3. Click once on the transaction to select it, and then click Select.
  4. You can use the Go to ERV button to view the Employee Record View before deciding whether to grant the request.  To return to the request, click Approve Request Access.
  5. Choose Yes or No to approve or deny the request.
  6. Type desired comments in the Comments field.
  7. Click Submit.

Once the home unit submits the transaction it appears in the My Inbox of the person who initiated the request.
