Direct Deposit

Signing up for Direct Deposit is a quick, easy, and efficient way to have your paycheck deposited. Earnings are electronically transferred into an account at the financial institution of your choice. You no longer need to take the time to go to the bank and cash your paycheck.

Consider the following when choosing Direct Deposit:

  • Direct Deposits will be effective immediately. Employees without an active direct deposit account prior to receipt of first pay will receive funds on a university provided pay card. These cards must be picked up at your campus specific Payroll Customer Service Office for activation.
  • You may choose to have your pay directly deposited with up to two institutions; however, the second institution must be an approved credit union. (Beginning May 1, the second institution will no longer be limited to approved credit unions.)
